When I first looked at this video I thought It must be pre-recorded sounds. That when they touched the shoes this make the sound happen. This was still an interesting ideas, reminding me of the MaKey MaKey kits, but in fact it is a lot more complicated!
I have also been thinking about feet as a means of touching the environment around, rather than the obvious first reaction that it is hands that touch the most.
