Antti Laitinen...

GPS drawing

Laitinen starts his work by printing an image of his face onto a map, then using the map and a compass he tried to follow the lines of his face as much as he can on foot. While doing this Laitinen is carrying a GPS tracking device, which records the actual lines he is talking throughout his journey.
He always prints the same image of his face onto different maps but the outcome is always different as there might be no road, rivers or buildings in the way, so the actual line is unable to be taken.

This idea of chance interests me, how the intention is to follow the line that is already on the map but barriers on the way, changing the outcome are not known until you do it. Exciting!
